This beautiful 360-degree-view is "walkway in the sky" worthy of its name.
KOKONOE“YUME”OTSURIHASHI is started construction in May 2004. 2 years later, in October 2006, it had a completion ceremony and opened. The total construction cost was 2 billion yen.
This construction did not get any subsidy from government.
The name of KOKONOE“YUME”OTSURIHASHI is chosen from submission from the public.

* The main wires are made by bundling 7 wires (diameter: 53mm).
It withstands the weight as 1800 adults (65kg/person), winds blowing as 65 meters per second and measure sevenearthquake.

"Tourist information center"
You can receive tourist information and other services.
A staff stamps ticket when you cross over the bridge.
Since you need the ticket when you return across the bridge, please do not lose it. No pets allowed entering.
Kitakata side also has entrance gate.
The bus stop is nexst to Nakamura-side parking.
The shuttle bus start form Bungonakamura Station, the seasonal sightseeing bus and some other buses are running.
Also, you can take a taxi here.
There is the best location to look out over the entire bridge.
"Shindo-no-taki",a waterfall which is located up-stream of the bride, has a legend of the dragon and the ritual to worship the dragon. At the ceremony announcing the opening the waterfall in July, Ryujinmochi(rice cakes) are served.
At the first store sells souvenir and famous products of KOKONOE.
At the second store, you can buy local products such as vegetables, fruits and other goods. There has hamburger shop as well.
Unmanned information counter for Kyushu olle
The starting point of "Kuju-Yamanami route"(one of the routes of Kyushu olle) that you can feel the great nature of Ida plateau.
Free wheelchair rentals are available at Nakamura area and Kitakata area.
When you use the service, please ask to staffs at the ticket counter (Nakamura area) or the ticket counter (Kitaka area).
Pets are not arrowed to across the bridge. We care your pets while you go over the bridge. If you need pet care services, please ask to staffs at the tourist information counter (Nakamura area) or the ticket counter (Kitaka area).
We have 4 lockers at the management center. Please ask to staffs.

Wi-Fi service is a part of customer services. It doesn’t guarantee perfect internet access.
Wi-Fi service is not available in some area in the facility.
We can’t any support to set up the Wi-Fi connection.
You can get some tourist information at the management center. There is lost-and-found center, too.
We have 2 bending machines in Nakamura area and one in Kitakata area.
Smoking areas are provided in each area.
Both of Nakamura and Kitakata area have restrooms and a multi purposes toilet unit.
There are parking spaces for 229 standard size cars and 37 large sized buses in Nakamura parking.
Kitakata Parking has spaces for 46 standard sized cars.
Near the gate of the Kitakata parking, there are some spaces for handicapped.

A. We open 365 days.
Q. Can I bring pets?
A. You can’t bring pets into the bridge but you can bring to the other facilities. We borrow cages for free.
Q. Is there any restaurant?
A. We have fast foods, lunch boxes, drinks at the 'Tenkukan’ shop.
Q. Is there any place to change baby diaper?
Q. We have multi-purpose toilet unit at both of Nakamura-side and Kitakata-side.
Q. Can I rent a baby car or wheel chair?
A. We have no baby car but free wheelchair rental service.
Q. How long does it take to go and come across the bridge?
A. It will take about 15 minutes if you walk slowly.
Q. Is there any hot springs around KOKONOE“YUME”OTSURIHASHI?
A. You can get some information at the tourist information center.
